| What's wrong with the Indians? The Cleveland Indians are 5-10. They lost three straight and eight of their last 11. Their ace (Sabathia) is 0-3 with a 13.50 ERA. Blake, Cabrera and Peralta are a combined 2 for their last 48. What the heck is wrong with this team? They stink! Renteria's slam, Cabrera's homer help Tigers rout Sabathia - MLB - Yahoo! Sports

| the tigers line-up The only thing wrong with the indians last night is that the tigers offence came alive. Horray! The tigers don't have the worst record in the divison anymore! they're just tied for the worst |

| Re: What's wrong with the Indians? Lefty, Sabathia's failures have been so conspicuous that they obviously have been a gigantic negative factor. What I was trying to point out is that the team has been very bad almost across the board. GM Mark Shapiro's failure to address obvious needs in the offseason is going to cost the team major money this season, as the fans stay away in response to the team's ineptitude. |

| Re: What's wrong with the Indians? Sabathia is continuing his choke that he began against Boston last year, only now it's his walk year and he is folding under the pressure. The bullpen is a joke and guys that have hit in the past are not hitting now. |

This team over achieved last year and the bar is set to high for CC i think everyone knows who the real Cy Young award winner was and it was Josh Beckett. It was a shame that CC got it with the stuff Beckett threw.Hes been inconsistent his entire carrer and it will never change trade him if the situation doesn't improve. One thing you have to take into consideration CC threw a carrer high 250+ innings last year and its affecting his command. And its a classic saying here in B.O.H.I.C.A.(bend over here it comes agian) aka Cleveland theres always next year. This team will not make the playoffs this year with this inconsistent offense and horriable bull pen pitching this is 06' all over agian. |

| Re: the tigers line-up Well, hopefully yesterday is a sign that things are getting turned around. Sabathia won and got 11 strikeouts, and the Tribe had 17 hits in a 15-1 crushing of the Royals. Casey Blake was 4-for-4 with 6 RBI, and David Dellucci and Jhonny Peralta had home runs. Blake hits grand slam in Cleveland romp - MLB - Yahoo! Sports |

| Re: What's wrong with the Indians? What troubles me about Sabathia's first win is that he had 102 pitches by the end of the sixth inning. That compels Wedge to go to his bullpen, and that can sometimes be a problem, especially when the team isn't hitting like they were last night. C.C. needs to be much less concerned with strikeouts, so that he can last longer in games. |
