Tribe picks up Byrd option
The Cleveland Indians have picked up the $7.5 million option on P Paul Byrd and will keep him around for the 2008 season. According to the Associated Press, "Byrd went 15-8 with a 4.59 ERA in 31 starts during the regular season. It was his highest win total since 2002, when he was with the Royals." Good move by the Tribe?
