The Indians are 52-36, only 1 game behind the Tigers for the AL Central division and 1 1/2 ahead of the Seattle Mariners, (of all teams) for the Wild Card. Twins are 7 behind, the A's 8, Jays and Yankees 8 1/2.

Anybody think they can beat out the Tigers to take back the division lead and/or does anybody think they will hold on to that wild card birth?

They have a good chance. I like their pitching. Detroit's a good team too though. This is shaping up to be a real barnburner the rest of the way!

I think they're goint to fall out of the AL Central race. Byrd, Westbrook and Carmona are all a little shaky to me and Detroit is now getting into gear. To me the question is whether they can hold on to the Wild Card.
