What a season this kid Fausto Carmona is having. With his win over the Blue Jays yesterday, Carmona is now 10-4 with a 3.85 ERA. His WHIP is a little high (1.35) but considering that he was 1-10 in 38 games with the Tribe last year. All 10 of those losses came in consecutive decisions. Now, he and Sabathia have given Cleveland their first pair of 10-game winners headed into the All-Star break since 1956, when Bob Lemon and Early Wynn accomplished the feat. So can Carmona stay hot in the second half this year?

Last year everybody about gave up on him. He was awful as a starter and worse as the closer. I wonder what happened to him to make a drastic change.

A remarkable turnaround after last season's debacle. I remember him pitching against Boston and getting shelled. Got to give him lots of credit.
