| Cleveland Indians winning streak The Cleveland Indians have won five straight games as of right now, and are 12-7 and sitting atop the American League Central. They are 6-2 against the Central Division and 4-1 against the AL West. Travis Hafner leads the team in batting average (.357), home runs (5) and RBI (16) while Grady Sizemore leads the team with 21 runs and 6 stolen bases. On the hill, C.C. Sabathia has emerged as an early Cy Young Award candidate, going 3-0 with a 3.18 ERA and 35 strikeouts compared to just 8 walks. Is this team for real? Can they take home the division title in 2007?

| Cleveland Indians winning streak Good win for the Indians yesterday, and it's thanks largely to Grady Sizemore. According to the AP, "Sizemore sped around the bases with an inside-the-park home run, Jake Westbrook got his first win in five starts and the Cleveland Indians beat the Baltimore Orioles 5-4 Friday night for their sixth straight victory." |
