Angels Indians series moved to Milwaukee

After the Indians home opener, and then the entire series against the Mariners, were snowed out over the weekend, Major League Baseball decided to move the Cleveland vs. Anaheim series to Milwaukee. I hate the idea of the Tribe losing home games, but I guess they actually have to play a few games this season, so it's not a horrible idea.

Early ticket sales 'encouraging' for Angels-Indians series

I just don't get why they had to go all the way to Milwaukee. They coud have had a shorter drive and more hometown fans if they went somewhere like Columbus. It doesn't hold as many people as Milwaukee, but I doubt the tribe sells out any of those games.

It's an official MLB park and it has a retractable dome, that's what they said on the news last night. You're right, though... seems like an awful long way to have to travel for a "home" game. I'm sure they could've used PNC if the Bucs weren't at home - heck, that might've been a good idea this past weekend for the Seattle series.
