| Buzzer Beater! Just as the Cavs looked like they were going to go down 0-2 on their homecourt after Hedo Turkalu hit a jumper in the lane to give the Magic a 95-93 lead with a second left. Then LeBron hit a buzzer beater three and the crowd went wild. The series is tied 1-1 and the Cavs, just wow it's great. No one will pass MJ unless they win 6 titles but LeBron may be the closest

| Re: Buzzer Beater! It was absolutely wild. I remembered your mentoring and didnt turn the channel. Finally, finally, the Magic pulled ahead by two and only one second left. For sure they have the game now. But wait, one second left, Cavs have the ball at mid court. Williams passes, James grabs it, turns his shoulders, jumps and shoots from outside the paint. He has it. He beats the buzzer. And the Cavs win. Does this guy play well under pressure or what? I mean, he is one of the best free throw shooters I have ever seen, but this shot was one of the most pressured there could be. And the thing is, he can do it again. The Magic are giving the Cavs a run for their money. This will be a long series.

Beginner my foot! There isnt anyone out there today that could make that same play. Not even Kobe. |

If Kobe had done it by banking an off balance shot, he would have been just as lucky...

| Re: Buzzer Beater! He didn't square up cause he was out of time...and no way in hell he meant to bank it...players may try to bank an 8 or 10 footer, but not a 28-30 ft off balance shot...He may be a wonder, but he was a "lucky" boy wonder on that shot... |

| Re: Buzzer Beater! Bette, the man hit only 34% from outside the arc this year...which is very, very average in today's NBA...He is not that great from out there...and he hurried a last second off balance shot and made it...It's only a big deal because of everything else he does...still, it, this one shot, was a lucky shot at best... |

My arguments arent any farther out than yours. So quit with the oh brother and stop rolling your eyes. So since he is a better "clutch" player, I get this one. Today: Goth=1 Bette=1 |

It really does not matter if King James can make a shot from the rafters in practice...in a game he is average (lifetime around 32%) from long range...If a better percentage shooter like Rashard Lewis had made the same off balance bank shot, they would be saying he got lucky...Lebron is going on reputation on that shot... but since we are crossing streams here, you can call James a clutch player (since he finds a way no matter how awkward the shot), which is what I was saying you can't call McNabb. |
