Cavs draft rumors

I think Rush should go somewhere around the mid to late teens, so the Cavs are certainly someone to watch, as they may trade up to secure Rush. Who do you think the Cavs should be targeting?

The Morning Journal - Varejao linked to trade rumors

Quote:
Rumors say the Cavs would be open to moving up and taking Kansas shooting guard Brandon Rush in Thursday's draft. They currently hold the No. 19 pick.

- Seattle has four second-round picks in the draft (Nos. 32, 46, 50 and 56). The Cavs have reportedly talked to the SuperSonics about acquiring one of those selections.

- Spanish shooting guard Juan Carlos Navarro, who played in Memphis last season, re-signed with FC Barcelona. The Cavs were reportedly interested in signing him.

Re: Cavs draft rumors

I would kind of like to see them go after a big man, an eventual replacement for Ilguaskas. But Rush wouldn't be a terrible pick either.

There have been rumors of DeAndre Jordan falling into the late teens to the early 20's, I think he would fit the bill. He could come in and backup Ilguaskas for a few years and develop his body and game. That would probably be a good situation for him, but that is quite a fall for someone that was once considered top 5 material. McGee, Koufos, Ajinca, and Hibbert could all be available around the 19th pick as well.
