It is amazing how under the radar a team with LeBron James can be. Maybe the Cavs are just being overshadowed by the thirteen game win streak by The Nets, but the Cavs have reeled off nine in a row now. I stated in a different thread that if Cleveland could push Detroit in the second round to six games I would consider it a success. Now I am thinking more along the lines of seven. But is anyone thinking they could win that series? I still say no because Cleveland is lacking defense (which no one seems to mention). But this has been an impressive run as they seem en route to a fifty win season.

So is anyone anticipating a longer than expected Cavs standing in the playoffs? Or do you see things from the opposite perspective, and predict them losing in the first round to The Wizards or Pacers?

You jinxed 'em, cjg! Seriously, though, it was an impressive run. Hope they can put this kind of streak together in the postseason. LeBron in particular was just outstanding during the run. I mean, he's always been really, really good, but it seemed like he went to a whole other level in those nine games. I really don't know how to describe it...

I think those nine games should give him the MVP. What is he like 33-7-7 and top ten in steals. That's... insane. Bureaucracy will probably rear its ugly head though and deny him the MVP because he is only 21.

Can someone give LeBron some props? Here we have a guy who is YOUNGER than JJ Redick and Adam Morrison who put the Cleveland Cavs on his back on the road to the playoffs.
