Cavs trade rumors

According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Cleveland Cavaliers are focusing on trying to get some backcourt help this offseason. The paper reports that the team may be "revisiting a possible trade the Cavs contemplated during the season with the Sacramento Kings for point guard Mike Bibby... If a deal for Bibby doesn't happen, the Cavs could seek Milwaukee point guard Earl Boykins, who can decline his player option for $3 million next season to become a free agent on July 1." So should the Cavs go after Bibby, Boykins, or neither?

first they should go after Jason Kidd the Nets will be waving out there they were during the trade deadline but after go after Mike Bibby he has more of a shooting mendality but one other LeBron could take up every time make a stong push at kidd then Bibby forget about Boykins

I hear they have cap issues, so unless they can get Jersey to take Ilgauskus or Hughes, a Kidd deal ain't gonna happen.

Very true...Kidd is a $100 million player...No way they're taking back those 2 guys...But if the Cavs want to win now, Bibby would be a great acquisition.

Re: Cavs trade rumors

I would be really happy if they got Bibby. They really need a true PG. Hughes did all right as a fill in, but he was not the answer. He is more of a #2 guard. They should also try to package Z and Gooden in a deal to get a good inside guy.
