When you are right, you are right. They never should have let the Pistons back in the games. They had a double digit lead and blew it. If they made shots in the 4th quarter, they wouldn't have been complaining about a non call.

Exactly, well put. It makes me realize that the Cavs are still pretty far away from being a title team.

James, Cavaliers Rise Over Pistons in Game 3

LeBron James had 32 points, nine rebounds and nine assists in the most important game of his young NBA career, helping Cleveland to an 88-82 victory over the Detroit Pistons on Sunday night to pull the Cavaliers within 2-1 in the Eastern Conference finals

Finally, a win for Cleveland. And LeBron was darn near a triple-double in the process. Here's hoping they can tie up the series in Game 4.

Cool Re: Eastern Conference Finals - Cavs vs. Pistons

At least it's a series, now. But Cleveland must get the next game to have any kind of chance.

No doubt about it. I still get the feeling that this team is several key pieces away, though.

Re: Eastern Conference Finals - Cavs vs. Pistons

Shoot, just read where Larry Hughes will likely miss Game 4.

According to the AP, "Cleveland's starting point guard, who has been mired in a prolonged shooting slump during the postseason, sprained his left foot in the first quarter of the Cavaliers' 88-82 win in Game 3 and described his chances of playing in Game 4 on Tuesday night as 'pretty slim' and 'doubtful.'"

Splitsville!

The Cavaliers used a 16-4 fourth quarter run to earn an emotional 91-87 win and even things up with the Pistons heading back to the Palace for Game 5.

Re: Splitsville!

The Cleveland Cavaliers are one win away from the Finals after a 109-107 2OT win last night.

According to the Associated Press, "[LeBron] James had already used every ounce of energy to put together one of the most spectacular performances in playoff history, lifting the Cleveland Cavaliers to the verge of their greatest season... James' career playoff-high 48 points -- including his team's final 25 and 29 of its final 30 -- carried Cleveland within a win of the NBA finals for the first time in franchise history with a 109-107 double-overtime victory over the Detroit Pistons on Thursday night."

do you think that since game six will be played in cleveland, its do or die for james? if he doesnt win it at home, will he be able to win a crucial game seven in detroit?

Perhaps. I don't know for sure what he's going to have left in the tank heading into Game 6, but they have two games to win one. Not to say that they're going to relax any, but they sure do seem to have the Pistons on the ropes right now. I think the Cavs can get it done.

I've been wrong about this series so what do I know....but, I really think Cleveland will win game 6 and even if they don't, they can easily win game 7. Detroit is lucky to even have a win...
