LeBron wins All-Star MVP

LeBron scored 29 points, powered a 21-point East comeback victory and became the youngest All-Star Game MVP of all time on Sunday. James also had six rebounds, two assists and two steals on the evening and was simply dazzling.

In fact, he was so impressive that Chauncey Billups went on to say that he could ultimately be "the best to ever lace them up... At 21 years old right now, and doing what he's doing ... I mean that kid should be a junior in college." He might be right. If LeBron manages to avoid injury, I can't even fathom where his game could be at in 3, 4, or 5 years.

Cool LeBron

There's no question at how good LeBron is and its scary to think how good he's going to be. However, he will eventually be judged on how many rings are on his fingers. Lets see him make the shots Jordan made in the playoffs, when the stakes are high and lead his team to a championship. Then and only then will he be considered as one of the greatest to ever play the game.

Lebron definitely put on a show to remember. Does anyone think that he can eventually carry Cleveland to a title, or is he going to have to go elsewhere to get his crack at the big one?

No player can win an NBA Championship by themself, Jordan couldn't, LeBron won't be able to. The big factor is they'll have to surround James with players who compliment him well and can help the team by playing good team ball....and passing to LJ

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy, though. Here's a player who knows what "teamwork" means, and who could still be the Michael Jordan or his generation -- or even better. They made the right choice.

I always thought that Zydrunas Ilgauskas would wind up being LeBron's Scottie Pippen, but it just hasn't worked out that way. Ilgauskas is third on the team in scoring with just 16.0 ppg. He does lead the team in blocks and free-throw percentage, so he may yet be a valuable cog, but he isn't "the piece" they need. Neither is Drew Gooden, in spite of his 8.8 rebounds and 51-plus percent shooting from the field. Whoever it is, they need to find it reasonably quick, or else LeBron probably will not end his career in Cleveland.
