| Re: Browns acquire center Well, its nothing against Friedman personally -- he may not be a half-bad center. But they just won't be able to replace LeCharles Bentley, no matter how hard they try. He was Cleveland's big free agent signing and he was going to anchor that line; you could pretty much feel the air go out of the team once he went down.
The Hallen retirement and the other kid getting busted for violation the substance abuse policy were just the icing on the proverbial cake. Tucker's a convered guard, if I remember correctly, and he's currently penciled in as the starting center. The end result is going to be lots of snap-exchange fumbles, and Charlie Frye's uniform getting awful dirty this season. |
