Re: Braylon Edwards status

According to this newspaper report, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Braylon Edwards participated in team drills yesterday. It was the first time since Edwards injured his knee that he's been able to fully participate in training camp, and he's said to be eyeing an opening day return. Cleveland absolutely needs Edwards back to help out Charlie Frye and the passing game. Think he'll be ready to go?

Re: Braylon Edwards status

It looks like Edwards should be able to play Week 1. He's played in some of the pre-season games and his surgically-repaired knee hasn't reacted negatively.

I'm expecting Edwards to be a big star for the Browns. Before he got hurt last year, he was one of the better receivers in the AFC.

He has star potential, but the injury happened late in the year...its hard to say he has bounced back to full strength in so little time...
