| Re: Kellen Winslow Jr. comeback A kinder, gentler Kellen Winslow Jr. stepped onto a football field for the first time in almost two years yesterday. Winslow, the once-cocky Browns tight end, almost seemed like a different person entirely talking to reporters after his first practice since tearing up his knee ligaments after a motorcycle stunt last year. He said that Ben Roethlisberger's accident "didn't seem real at first" and that "My prayers and thoughts are with him." He also said he was done with motorcycles for good. Has the kid turned the corner and, after leg injuried in consecutive years, does Winslow have anything left to offer as a football player? |
