Shaun Rogers figures to be a big part of Romeo Crennel's defense but has nothing to do with his weight. He is expected to play both nose tackle and right end and to be a force at both positions.
His weight was an issue in Detroit, but Crennel says he seems to have it under control.

It seems like he had it under control once in Detroit but then let it go. Hopefully he realizes he is getting another chance and not blow it.
I can still see that picture in my mind of him huffing and puffing along the side lines. Man, was he out of shape.
