the Browns are oh so close ..... they just seem to need one piece to the puzzle to make them complete


but what is that piece ?

they dont need a QB ..... they seem to have the same problem the Chargers had .... bring in a rookie you love (Rivers/Quinn) .. but out of the blue a vet steps up huge (Brees/Anderson)

they shore up the O-line last draft

so just what piece is it they are missing to go from just outside the draft .. to having a realistic chance to get to the 2nd round ?

is it really just one piece .... or do they really need several ?

They need a defensive playmaker. I think more than anything, that's probably the biggest weakness for them.

im not doubting you ...... but which one ? ....... if the Browns can have any one of them .. but only one ... which one do they need most ?

See, that's a tough question to answer. I'd say a pass rusher, but it's hard to argue against a shutdown corner too.

Bottom line is, I'm not convinced they're just one piece away. 2-3 maybe.

I agree. I am not a fan of their defense at all. They have some players to build around, but no stars. Wembley is going to be good for a while. I really like Bodden, and MacDonald stepped up in his rookie season. By the time they fix the defense they will also need a younger RB. I am not convinced that Lewis can do it for too many more years.
