| Browns promote Mel Tucker to Defensive Coordinator The Cleveland Browns promoted Mel Tucker to defensive coordinator, replacing Todd Grantham, who was fired yesterday after three seasons. Tucker, 36, has been the Browns' defensive backs coach for the past three seasons.
