The Cleveland Browns have put veteran NT Ted Washington on injured reserve, ending his season.
"Ted has been working through some knee issues that finally have caught up to him," Browns coach Romeo Crennel is quoted as saying in an Associated Press report. "We appreciate his effort to this point and know he will continue to help us any way he can in going forward." He opened the season as a starter, but has recently been replaced in the lineup by Ethan Kelly, so it's not a huge loss (unless you count the 375-pound Washington's size as a factor).
