has Derek Anderson saved Brady Quinn's career ?

Charlie Frye couldnt get it done, and he got benched .. then they tried Derek Anderson ... had he not gotten it done he may very well have been benched in favor of Brady Quinn ..... some think putting Quinn in there too early could ruin him for the NFL (also he could get seriously injured if put out there and not ready)

so far so good, Anderson has done well enough to keep his starting job .. and well enough to buy Quinn some time to learn and stay safely on the sidelines

The danger is, if Anderson continues to produce, the Browns could find themselves in a situation like the Chargers had a few years back with Brees and Rivers. The starting quarterback playing well enough to keep the hyped, first-round draft pick on the bench.
