Lightbulb Romeo needs to go!!!

Just like the Butch Davis era and about 3 teams a year you see it. Teams don't agree with the coach and basiclly refused to buy into there scemes. Romeo isn't firey enough and he doesn't take the chances you have to take with a team like the browns. I was a Romeo supporter for all of his years blaming this all on a depleted roster and bad drafting. But this team doesn't even compete and in this league you have to be competitive week in week out and this team just doesn't do it. Week in week out you see a team that doesn't appear to be able to beat applachian state and looks out of place like a division 5 high school team.Just like the case in Ann Arbor you have talent and you don't produce it comes down to the coach and he just isn't getting it done.Another 5 years will not help the Romeo dynasty.

Re: Romeo needs to go!!!

I'm not sold on the Browns level of talent being all that good - at least, not the healthy guys. They've had a lot of injury concerns over the past few seasons. Some of Cleveland's big free agent signings (Bentley) have yet to play a game for the Browns. Lewis was a terrible pick-up, IMO, but I'm not sure if Romeo or Savage is to blame for that one. Maybe Crennell's not the right guy for the job, but I don't think the team that's taking the field every Sunday, due to injuries and poor personnel decisions, is all that good to begin with.

Cool Re: Romeo needs to go!!!

The only reason Romeo hasn't quit yet is because he wants to collect his paycheck.

Savage has forced coaches on him and these 2 guys don't get along. He's DEFINITELY gone after this year. It's not even an issue.
