There are escalator clauses that could make the deal worth $30 million in years 4 and 5. This ends a 2 week holdout. ESPN's Chris Mortensen said that neither Charlie Frye or Derek Anderson has been good so there is a chance that Brady Quinn starts. The chance is around 20%. I thought there was a set amount that draft positions could make on their first contracts, or was that just a rule of thumb for owners?

finally he ends the madness ends and hes making four million a year so i think he should be happy with what he got out of this deal

Yeah...I honestly don't see him as being worth only half of Cutler...but heck, the kid is still set for life...and Nike will come calling.
