What is Brady Quinn worth to the Browns? Okay boys and girls, if you are the Browns what is Quinn worth to you? If you are Quinn what would you hold out for?

I say he gets in the neighborhood of 50-55 million for 5 or 6 years (slightly less than Vince Young mney)...

Now I know you've lost it. Young was the first QB taken last year. I would say Quinn deserves absolutely NO MORE than the 6-year, $48 million Jay Cutler got at #11 overall last season, and even with that I'm allowing that he'll earn more than he should as the 22nd overall pick.

Naw. Cutler though a good QB chosen higher was not a name when he signed...Quinn is ...he is worth 2-4 mil more than Cutler...

They you've got him being paid higher than Leinart, which is completely wrong considering the USC quarterback was a Top 10 pick. No, if Quinn get Cutler-like money, he does so because he earns a positive mark for being a bigger name, and a negative mark for being drafted 11 spots further down in the draft. IF - and I emphasize that IF because I'm not convinced of this like of thinking - but IF those two things cancel each other out, then he gets a Cutler-style deal. Which is still a little too high, in my opinion.

he should get paid #22 pick money and not a penny more ...... i would let him hold out for the entire season if need be and not pay him a dime

you cant pay him top 10 money then he turns out to be Rick Mier or Ryan Leaf

I dont know, maybe better than #22 pick money, but not much more. He's starting to irritate me.
