Browns sign fullback Ricard, tight end Krause
Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, PA - 12 minutes ago
CLEVELAND (AP) -- Fullback Alan Ricard and tight end Ryan Krause signed one-year contracts with the Cleveland Browns on Monday.

Ricard spent five seasons with Baltimore and blocked for Jamal Lewis -- now a member of the Browns -- during his 2,000-yard season in 2003. Ricard was waived by Buffalo before last season and didn't play.

Krause played in just five games for San Diego in 2004 and 2005 and was inactive for all 16 games last season.

Is it just me, or do the Browns have a habit of picking old Ravens players?

Well, their current GM did come from Baltimore, so he knows the personnel well, I'd imagine.
