Re: Ryan Tucker returns Maybe Tucker just had a case of the guilts -From the Browns Fan House Blog: Quote:
Bryan Boyd was a TCU student, along with Tucker in 1996. On May 11 of that year, after leaving a nightclub, Tucker and 3 other players beat Boyd so badly, he was read his last rites and his mother was asked about donating his organs. To this day, he is severely wounded with paralysis, memory loss, and permanent brain damage.
You would root for this criminal. He got off without even so much as a slap on the wrist! You think Mr. Boyd might like some of the million$ Tucker has made in his 10 year NFL career? This is karma, plain & simple.
When Ryan Tucker was drafted by the Rams, he was awaiting trial for this assault. The reason he fell into the 4th round was simple. Other teams were scared off by the three barroom brawls Tucker got into at TCU. When asked about Tucker's legal difficulties, coach Dick Vermeil replied, "He can finish a fight. That's a positive."
Look, I realize that Tucker has a family now & I'm really sorry about all that. I'm not sure, but I bet Bryan Boyd didn't marry the cheerleader, live in a gated suburb & live happily ever after.
