The Browns have added one of the top offensive lineman available to their squad in Eric Steinbach tonight. ESPNews says the contract is for 7 yrs and nearly $50 million with a $17 million bonus.

It was the nature of the beast this year. Everyone knew it was going to happen. People were going to get incredibly ridiculous deals to move, because the recent cap windfall gave so many respective teams the opportunity to grab top-tier players.

Respectively, Derrick Dockery got $49 million, 7-years and $18.5 million guarenteed. Steinbach got less than that and is arguably the better player to boot.
