| Re: QB Ken Dorsey to start vs. Texans Well, this is typical of Cleveland's season. Injuries, injuries and more injuries. Dorsey's a pretty good QB, though. Hopefully he plays well and the Browns can finish the season on a high note. Next year this team might really be something. If they can stay healthy, that is. The way things are going, that's a big "if".

| Re: QB Ken Dorsey to start vs. Texans Well, I think this pretty much seals up the loss. Dorsey has a very weak arm and shaky pocket presence. The only saving grace will be that it is the Texans secondary, which features marginal safeties. However, I don't know if we can give Ken Dorsey's noodle arm time to try to throw overtop them. |

But, he will never be more than a below average number two, average number three in my opinion. I am the first to tell you that arm strength isn't the sole measure a quarterback should be evaluated on, but I want at least a live arm out of my guy. Dorsey doesn't even have that. His sloppy mechanics absolutely must be improved if he is to have a semi-bright future. He needs to push off his back foot and step into his throws. Right now, his puts an unequal amount of weight on his front foot which flattens the zip of the ball. |
