Browns' QB picture a bit fuzzy
Chicago Sun-Times, United States - 1 hour ago
Derek Anderson passed his first NFL assignment. His next one might be tougher.

Anderson, who replaced injured quarterback Charlie Frye and rallied the Cleveland Browns to a 31-28 overtime victory Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, might have to make his first pro start Thursday against the blitz-happy Pittsburgh Steelers.

Frye hurt his right wrist in the first quarter against the Chiefs. Initial X-rays taken at Browns Stadium were negative, but Frye, who sat out the second half and left the stadium wearing a brace, had an MRI exam Monday at the Cleveland Clinic. The team was awaiting the results.

Re: Browns' QB picture gets hazy

It can't hurt. So far Frye has not turned out very well, but it is not all his fault. He can not throw the ball while laying on his back or running for his life.

Re: Browns' QB picture gets hazy

I agree 100% Gotham. Anderson looked good on Sunday, and I for one wouldn't mind seeing what he can do.

Re: Frye or Anderson?

I think people remembered the success of Rothlesburger and thought Charlie Frye could do the same, but really I agree that I was never really impressed by him. I think Andersen might not be the guy either, but atleast he is a better option in my opinion....
