It's good enough that we've got a showdown of two of the best tight ends in football right now -- Cleveland's Winslow is tops at the TE position with 40 catches for 393 yards and three touchdowns while San Diego's Gates is a two-time Pro Bowler who's caught 32 passes for 384 yards and 4 TDs.

But now we also get a war of words between the two, with Kellen Jr. telling reporters "I said I was the best. I am the best, and I'm going to prove it on Sunday" and his Charger counterpart firing back that he had a problem with Winslow because he was being "a guy who disrespects guys who've done it over a decade like a Tony Gonzalez and those guys. To put yourself in a situation where you feel like you're better than a guy who has basically been doing it since you were in high school, I just have a problem with him not... respecting the guys who've proven themselves in the league."

What do you think of this war of words, and which of these two tight ends would you rather have on your team?

Winslow better take him...I got him on a fantasy team in which I traded Witten for a good RB, because I had Winlsow...time to shine big guy...

Though he has been battling a leg injury this year.

Doesn't matter...I got to stick with my boy...this is the one year I did not draft a great TE with a high pick...I got Winslow off the wire...and that's plenty good enough.

Kellen Winslow is hurt all the time in fact he never played 8 games in a season so he is not a football player but a turd. He'll get hurt again and make his dad wish that he was sterile.

This seems to be a pretty heated topic.

You cannot really bash Antonio Gates this season, because lost Drew Brees who should equally be credited for his great season last year. Kellen Winslow has the potential of turning into a great reciever, but he must mature from NFL experience. Give him some time before your completely bash into him like so.
