Clemson QB Cullen Harper

Keep an eye on this kid Cullen Harper, the QB for the Clemson Tigers. Yesterday, Harper threw for a school-record four touchdown passes, and according to the Associated Press, the redshirt junior "is 34-of-50 passing for 430 yards, seven TDs, no interceptions and two very big wins... Harper was 20-of-26 for 270 yards against the Warhawks." Could this kid be sneaking his way into the Heisman Race?

Re: Clemson QB Cullen Harper

Cullen is a super kid. I know his dad very well - he was an OT on the great Georgia team that won the national champinship (he also played a little pro ball).

I coached and coached against Cullen for several years when he and my son played BB.

Not this year, but I think he has a good start on being a candidate for next year.
