The challenge for Tommy Bowden this week will be keeping his team focused. They're bowl eligible, and win or lose, will be playing in a middle-of-the-pack type of game. South Carolina, too, is bowl eligible for the second time under Steve Spurrier, who has been tied to the upcoming Miami coaching vacancy. So focus may be an issue for the Gamecocks as well. At any rate, it should be a good game. Who do you think wins it?

First of all why would the players for Clemson not be focused on the South Carolina game. No matter what records each team has they both know whats at stake in the rivalry. To answer your question Clemson I believe will win the game just because on paper we are better and because Tommy Bowden has South Carolina and Steve Spurriers number.

Yeah, I don't think focus will be an issue in the Clemson South Carolina game. But SC's won some games this year and rivalry games often have some surprises.

Even though they're down 14-7 in the 2nd quarter, I'm going with the Gamecocks in the upset today.

31-28. Clemson missed a 39 yard field goal at the end that would have tied it. lol, the announcer said games that are decided by a field goal have not been friendly to the Bowden family.

USC dominated the game.

USC made stupid mistakes that kept the game close.

I don't think you can say that CU has a better team ... at least not after all the injuries suffered this year.
