| Re: Reds rally, beat Phillies 4-3 It is KILLING me how bad the NL East is. Look at this-
Wins/losses in the NL East
1st place- Phillies- 43/38
2nd place- Marlins- 43/42
Wins/losses in the AL East
1st place- Red Sox- 50/33
2nd place- Yankees- 49/34
The Yankees would be in 1st place by like 5 games if they were in the NL East. I'm only comparing these two because they are both on the east coast. Imagine if the New York teams switched and the Mets were in the AL East. With their current record they would be in second to last place just ahead of the Orioles by about 2 games.
I could go into how the Yankees could be 1st place and beyond in any other division and how the AL East is the toughest in baseball, but I suppose that is a different rant for a different thread.
