Thumbs down The Reds Bullpen

With what the Reds have right now, they need to bank on the West teams going .500 and worse now.

There's no excuse for the Reds to waste a great start today by Kyle Lohse. 6.1IP, 6 hits, 1 ER, 8 SO... That is a start that deserves a W, not another 3 run 8th inning to blow it.

Re: The Reds Bullpen

The Reds don't have a reliable bullpen. By the simple terms of cause and effect, I don't think that they will reach the Playoffs this year. Bronson Arroyo has been solid, but they need more than him to make it. Better luck next year, though!

Add to it Aaron Harang who has also been solid...12-7, 154Ks 3.66 ERA.

To be fair to them though...Eddie Guardado has done a decent job since coming over from Seattle...he has 12 appearances 7 saves 0.77 ERA and 0.94 WHIP...which is far better than he was doing in Seattle.
