Ken Griffey: 600 Home Runs

Ken Griffey Jr. is just one HR away from the 600 home run mark for his career. He hit career dinger #599 today, a two-run shot in the first inning that came off of Jair Jurrjens of the Atlanta Braves. How long until Junior Griffey makes history and hits his 600th career homer?

Yeah, me too. The sooner, the better. He's one of the great guys of the game.

Re: Ken Griffey: 600 Home Runs

He'll be number 6 to join the club and he will be the 5th oldest when he does it ... assuming it happens soon.Youngest was Willie Mays and the oldest was Barry Bonds
