He wanted to go. It was a dream of his to play for the Reds like his father.

There are also those that think playing CF on Seattles artificial turf for years is what led to all the injury problems he had

I watched him play "AA" ball. Yeah that was a while ago. He didn't remain in "AA" very long. He played 17 games here, 2 home runs and a 279 BA

It must have been very quick. I don't even remember his minor league days. I thought he went straight from high school.

He played 1987 in low A ball and then 1988 split between A and AA ball.
