According to the Associated Press, "An MRI on Thursday confirmed that Cincinnati Reds rookie outfielder Josh Hamilton has a strained right hamstring, according to a report on the team's web site Friday... The 26-year-old will not make the Reds' 10-day road trip that begins Friday in Milwaukee and will remain in Cincinnati to undergo rehabilitation. With just 16 games to go, all indications are that Hamilton is done for the season."
All things considered, it probably is best just to let the kid heal and get ready for next season, don't you think?
