| has anybody noticed since July 3 when Narron was fired and Mackanin took over, the Reds have the best record in the NL (29-19). I know it is not much, but it is something to look forward to next season.      |

| Re: has anybody noticed As long as a big "name" doesn't apply for the job, I don't see why they wouldn't give it to himd. He has earned it as far as I'm concerned. I haven't had a whole lot of time to pay attention, but he seems to have a better grip on the bullpen as well.
