According to the Associated Press, "Reds catcher David Ross left Sunday's game against the San Diego Padres with a headache and concussion-like symptoms after a collision with Mike Cameron at home plate... Ross was taken to a hospital and the team said results of a CT scan were normal."

Any update on this guy's condition yet? He's my only catcher in the fantasy league!

It looks like you are going to be without his services for a while. He was put on the DL and they brought up Ryan Jorgenson from Louisville. Javier Valentine will probably get most of the starts with Ross out, and Jorgenson will give hm rest days.

Bad news for the Reds. Doesn't matter so much with me, I'm out of this one any way you look at it.

Not too bad of news. He was only hitting around .210 I believe. He is not even close to last years numbers. I was hoping they would bring up a good catching prospect, but the guy they promoted has no shot at the bigs from what I read.
