| Reds made many moves today 1. They placed Freel on the DL again. He has torn cartilage in his right knee. He is scheduled to have surgery tomorrow. They will figure out how long he is out afterwards, but Freel said it should be a significant amount. He expects to be on crutchs for 4-6 weeks.
2. Recalled Majewski from Louisville. Maybe he can get some outs this time around.
3. Guardado was reinstated to the team after being on the 60 day DL from his surgery last year.
4. Josh Hamilton was sent to Louisville on rehab assignment. I hope he hurries back. We could use his bat.
5. Sent Jon Coutlangus back to Louisville. I know he deserved to get sent down, but so does most of the bullpen. How he gets sent down and Coffey is still able to wear a baseball uniform is a mystery to me. He might be able to record outs consistently if he is allowed to start throwing golf balls and the hitters get to use yard sticks. Then again he would just walk them.
