| Bengals tap Brooks in supplemental draft The Cincinnati Bengals selected LB Ahmad Brooks in the third round of the supplemental draft earlier this week. Brooks played three seasons with Virginia. He was a first-team All-ACC linebacker as a sophomore, as well as a finalist for the Butkus Award in 2004. However, Brooks was also kicked off the team by Cavaliers coach Al Groh for unspecified reasons.
Gutsy move for Cincy to draft a player like this considering the problems they've had with Henry, Rucker and Nicholson. Does the risk outweigh the potential reward, or vice versa? |
