Re: Bengals RB Quincy Wilson

Okay, I admit... this comes from a selfish place. I doubt many of you are too familiar with Quincy Wilson, but he's from my area. In fact, I covered a few of his games while he was in high school at Weir High School in Weirton, W. Va. The dude was awesome. When he went to WVU, so many of us thought he was going to blow the doors off everyone. It didn't happen, but he was good enough to make the NFL, first with the Falcons and now with the Bengals. According to this article, in July he's going to be hosting a football camp not 15 minutes from where I live. Might have to go drop in and check it out...

Re: Bengals RB Quincy Wilson

This guy was a big time player at WVU; maybe he did not live up to his expectations, but he was behind Cobourne(the Big Easts all time leading rusher) for a couple of seasons.

Do you guys remember the run against Miami??

Cool Re: Bengals RB Quincy Wilson

You guys lost me with the "local boy angle"...Quincy who?...Local Legend?...There was a kid named Andre Green in my Junior High School who could run a 9.5 100 yard dash...does that count?...I mean the kid was 13 and he could run like the wind...unfortunately he was a bad apple...not sure he made it out of high school...
