Hot finish save Coach Lewis's job?

The Bengals finished 7-9 and finished in 3rd place in the AFC North which was a huge disappointment for the team. Much of the blame has fallen on head coach Marvin Lewis, fair or not. Too many thug like players are on the Bengals and they might need a new start like the Vikings started a couple of seasons ago when they rid themselves of the bad apples. Marvin Lewis better win next season or he will likely be out of a job.

Cincinatti Bengals » Hot finish likely saved Marvin Lewis’ job with the Cincinnati Bengals

This is one fan's opinion.
How much blame does Lewis hold for the Bengals' poor performance?

Re: Hot finish save Coach Lewis's job?

Something's got to change. Their players are thugs and, after some initial promise, they've fallen flat under Lewis.

Cool Re: Hot finish save Coach Lewis's job?

Their defense is horrible. That's the problem.

Considering defense is supposed to be Lewis's specialty, that reflects rather poorly on the coach, wouldn't you say?
