Hmm, I think at this point I'd rate them Anderson, Palmer, then Esiason, but Boomer isn't all that far behind.

Good question Gotham.

When all is said and done, I think Palmer will be the best QB Cincy has ever had. He's already better than Boomer but he doesn't have the body of work so far to say he's better than Anderson yet--but if I was starting a team from scratch and they were both the same age, I would take Palmer.

I would take Palmer too...but Anderson I thought was very under rated...he got lost in an era with Staubach, Stabler, Bradshaw, Griese...and later Montana...

Agreed, I guess that's why I put him ahead of Palmer right now. That could well change in the next couple of years, though.

Yes, he is ahead right now...but I am with Pundit, if starting a team, I'd take Carson Palmer...

This reference either make me really young or you guys really old. Because I never saw Staubach, Stabler, or Bradshaw play. When you stated Griese, I thought you meant Brian, but then I realized you meant Bob. And I saw some Montana & Esiason games as a kid.

Just thought I would throw that in there.

But anyways. I really think Palmer will be one of the best when all is said and done. He is a great QB. But man he needs to win some games.

I'm a die-hard Bengals fan, but dang if this team can't win a stinking game. They could have the best team in the NFL and still lose. They drive me crazy!
