Bengals Vs. Ravens

The Cincinnati Bengals take on the Baltimore Ravens week 1. This is going to be a great game to watch.

Will the Ravens show they have more than defense when new comer Willis Mcgahee runs in touchdowns? Can the Ravens stop the potent offense of Palmer, johnson, housh and ocho cinco? Will we finally see chads new bag of tricks?

This game will be close but I give the edge to the Bengals, they will win by a field goal..

Re: Bengals Vs. Ravens

I got Carson Palmer and Ocho Cinco in the GTG league...which sucks cause they play the Raven...I am hoping they throw often...they throw deep and that Ed Reed breaks a leg in the process.

Preseason, schmeeseason. Cincinnati has the third best QB in the AFC. They have a great corps of receivers and Rudi Johnson at running back. I'm a little iffy about their defense, but it won't matter because the Ravens offense is going to be awful in 2007. Willis McGahee is not the answer at tailback, mark my words. Cincy wins this one by 10.

Why is everyone so down on mcgahee? Yea hes has a horrible preseason but c'mn, if he ran for close to 1,000 yrds in buffalo, surely he can do damage with a better o-line..

I don't know, vince. I think his attitude is what bothers me. He's too worried about where he can go party after the game, when if he put all that effort into self-improvement, who knows, he might be every bit as good as LT or Larry Johnson. That, and I have questions about the Ravens offensive line.

Re: Bengals Vs. Ravens

So much for this being an easy win for Baltimore!

According to the Associated Press, "With wounded players shuffling off the field in waves, Cincinnati pulled off the kind of victory Monday night that could set the tone for a season -- that is, assuming no one else gets hurt... Carson Palmer threw his second touchdown pass in the fourth quarter, and a suspect defense pulled off a goal-line stand in the closing seconds that preserved a 27-20 win over the Baltimore Ravens."
