The Bengals lost kevin Walter to the Texans... So what. He was going to get beat out by Chris Henry for the #3 wide reciever spot anyway. And even if Henry ends up in jail and not playing this season, it is likely Walter would still be beaten out by Tab Perry.
Marvin kept Walter around to play special teams and the Bengals will miss his special teams play. However, Chatman improves the Bengals in a Special Teams area that is desperate for improvement, return.
Besides, not only do the Bengals pick up a return guy, they get a 7th round pick for Walter. Not bad for a guy you might of had to cut later in the year. |
