good luck johnny...

John Kitna's five year run with the Cincinnati Bengals has finally come to an end. One of the rare times in professional sports a relationship ends on good terms. Kitna was comeback player of the year in 2003 and a mentor to the Bengal's newest pro-bowl quarterback, Carson Palmer.
Kitna is to get around 10 million dollars from the Detroit Lions over four years. I wish him the best in turning a problemed franchise around. I would assume with the money they are paying him he will be thier starting quarter back next season.

Good signing for Detroit, but where does Cincy go for a backup QB now? Still eyeing Maddox and Wright?

They had Jamie Martin in town yesterday, and I think he was still there today as well. It will be someone of that caliber.

Rumorville also says that the Bengals worked out Chris Redman today. I doubt he will end up with the job.

I don't know - I think I'd take Martin or Redman over Maddox or Wright.
