Another Bengal arrested

This time, it's Cincinnati CB Johnathan Joseph, who according to the Associated Press, "was arrested early Monday and charged with possession of marijuana." He's the ninth Bengal to be arrested in the past nine months. So let's see what the new, tougher Marvin Lewis decides to do to the kid.

Cool Re: Another Bengal arrested

The Bengals should just have a little traveling police booth that they bring with them, fully equipped with finger printing material, a camera for mug shots and a parole officer.

Re: Another Bengal arrested

This is unbelieveable. How does seemingly half the Bengals get in trouble with the law in one season?

Hopefully they look at bringing in some character guys this off-season.

Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer said the string of arrests of Bengals players is "ridiculous'' and needs to stop if the team hopes to be a championship contender.

“If it doesn’t stop, we’re not going to have any fans left and I don’t blame them. It’s ridiculous,'' Palmer said hours after he heard the news that cornerback Johnathan Joseph was arrested in Northern Kentucky for possession of marijuana.

"We can’t get through a month without getting a guy arrested. It happens on another team and they’re shocked and surprised to hear about it. With us, you hear about it and it doesn’t surprise you and you just shake your head and say, ‘Another one.’ ”

The Enquirer - Palmer: Arrests 'ridiculous'
now im no therapist.........but im guessing Palmer isnt too happy

You can't blame Carson Palmer. And hell, I'm glad he's speaking out and trying to be a vocal leader.

They need to kick 2 or 3 guys off the squad to send a message...

I agree. On draft day, when they go to the podium, they should have police there to fingerprint them. Just in case.

Re: Another Bengal arrested

I say kick off all members of your team who got arrested. It will be betterfor you in the long run. The Bengals should have made the playoffs but the distractions got to be too much.

I would love to see that happen, just for the statement it would make. But (had to be a 'but') it'll never happen, because it would be not only a salary cap nightmare, but the Bengals would have to face countless grievences from the NFLPA.

If the PA spent a little more time fighting for what is morally correct instead of keeping criminals and junkies on the payroll, the entire sport would be better off.

If the NFL kept criminals and junkies off the payroll the NFL would cease to exist!!! Let's face it...if Charles Manson could run recieving routes, block and catch the ball in traffic some team (probably the Raiders) would sign him!
