Yesterday, the Bearcats spiced up their practice with full padded workouts in the morning and then helmets/padded workouts in the afternoon.
Coach Kelly had the team work on goal line situations which according to him, "We've got a physical presence on our football team. We're not a finesse team. We're not a soft group and today we saw some good things. We have to show that we can spread it out, but at the end of the day, you have to be able to run the football and I thought we did a pretty good job."
I don't think he's telling anyone anything they don't already know. If Cincinnati is going to win games this year, it's going to be with smash mouth football.
