Looks like Guillen knows that Dewayne Wise is NOT a major league leadoff hitter. He's shaking up the lineup for todays game and putting Getz at leadoff with Pierzynski batting 2nd.
Getz has lead off at every level and has already said that he is ready. He is young and untested but, it'll be exciting to see what he can do.

How much longer before Wise is sent back to AAA where he belongs and Brian Anderson is batting 9th and playing CF?
I'm no fan of Anderson's but, he's a better option than Wise at this point. Wise is the worst hitter on the team and isn't a very good CFer. Anderson plays near gold-glove caliber CF but, struggles with the bat.
Wise has no business being anywhere near the leadoff spot.
