Re: Dye pushes White Sox past Yankees in 11

What a great game!

I thought that Mariano Rivera could preserve the tie and perhaps get a win, but I was wrong. However, it is another great game for Jermaine Dye who is having a spectacular season.

Dye by the Numbers:.318 with 18 HRs and 84 RBIs.

MVP-like numbers are displayed above!

Re: Dye Singles in the 11th to Beat the Yanks!

ya what a great game... to bad that your white sox cant make the playoffs cause of the hardest schdule in mlb.... and the twins play you 3 times at chicago and 6 times in minnesota...we can take the red sox out of the race they have a decently hard schdule and they have horrible pitching.

Re: Dye Singles in the 11th to Beat the Yanks!

I hope so.

I heard on ESPN that the Twins jumped ahead of the White Sox in the AL Wild Card chase. That is surprising because the last time I looked at the standings, they were 11 games behind.

But one thing is almost sure...

Joe Mauer will walk away with the AL Batting Title. He will be named the first catcher to ever hold that title and that is a huge achievement to be proud of.
